We have been working on CCS technology for several years and last year - with support from federal funding and in close cooperation with the Technical University of Dresden - we developed the fundamentals for liquid CO₂ capture from gas mixtures and the processing of CO₂ for underground storage.  

The upgrading of biogas is known to be necessary before it can be injected into the natural gas grid. Our technology for liquid CO₂ separation from gas mixtures offers a solution for this without any increase in costs, with which a double success can be achieved:

• on the one hand, the separation of pure biomethane for feeding into the natural gas grid, and
• secondly, the separation of liquid CO₂ for underground storage.
